Tarun Goel is a Graduate Engineering Computer Science & Engineering from GNDU, Amritsar. He is a qualified internal auditor for IS 17025 and carries more than two decades of experience in providing technical support and consulting services to domestic as well as global corporations for various conformity assessment schemes. He also own and manages a state-of-art manufacturing unit in Kundli (NCR) for manufacturing of Test Equipment and Fixtures as per international testing protocols and National/International Standards.
Sanjay Gupta, Ex. Senior Director BIS
Sanjay Gupta is an eminent professional, having rich experience in all the facets of Standardization, Management Systems, Conformity Assessment, Testing and Quality Certification. He served for 27 years with the Bureau of Indian Standards, the national Standards Body of India. He is M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai and was Head of Foreign Certification and Laboratory Policy & Planning in BIS, before taking voluntary retirement as Head of Western Region Laboratories, BIS, India.
Vishnu Gupta, Ex – Deputy Director General BIS
Vishnu Gupta is an eminent Indian Scientist with an experience of 38 years in the field of Conformity Assessment. He served for 35 years with the Bureau of Indian Standards and retired as Scientist G and Deputy Director General (Labs) in 2019. He is B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur and has also done his Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
Roshan Lal, Ex. Senior Director BIS
Roshan Lal is an eminent Indian Technologist with an experience of 30 years in all facets of Conformity Assessment. He retired as Senior Director & Head (Conformity Assessment) Haryana Branch, Bureau of Indian Standards. He is B. E. in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, M.I.E. and has also done his Post Graduate Diploma in Air- Conditioning & Refrigeration. He is also a Chartered Engineer. He is a Fellow & EC Member of Indian Society of Lighting Engineers, Fellow of Metrology Society of India, Member of Indian Society of Heating Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineers, Fire & Security Association of India and International Association of Engineers.
R P Singh, Ex. Senior Director BIS
R P Singh is an eminent scientist, having rich experience in all the facets of Standardization, Conformity Assessment, and Quality Assurance. He is a M. Sc (Chemistry) and has served for 32 years with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and superannuated as Senior Director. During his long association with the Bureau of Indian Standards, he had held various eminent positions and also extensively dealt with matters concerning conformity assessment, standardization at National & International level and quality assurance through product certification. He has vast experience and has carried out audits on behalf of BIS in almost all the continents of the world, especially in the field of chemicals, food & engineering etc.

Manjunath A N has over a decade of experience in GST & Customs, spanning tax policy, administration, adjudication, and compliance enforcement. He played an active role in the design and national rollout of GST while serving in the GST Policy Wing at the Ministry of Finance, and later held roles as Joint Commissioner & Additional Commissioner in CBIC. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship from IIM Bangalore, with research focused on entrepreneurial ecosystems and how public policy and regulatory environments influence innovation and enterprise development.
