Turnover for the previous financial year does not exceed ₹2 crore, certified by a Chartered Accountant.

Exemption for R&D Imports:

Manufacturers of laboratory glassware are allowed to import up to 200 goods or articles per year for research and development purposes.

Conditions for exemption:
The imported goods/articles must not be sold commercially.
They may only be disposed of as scrap.
A year-wise record of the goods/articles must be maintained and furnished to the Central Government.
